CLEAR INFORMATION, BEFORE YOU JOIN
Programme Terms & Conditions
Addiction2Change / Addiction2You • Independent and Supported
Last updated 11 October 2026. These standing terms apply to every Addiction2Advocate programme cohort unless we notify you of updated terms before you enrol. Your individual programme dates and purchase details are confirmed at checkout and by email.
1. Who supplies the programmes
These programmes are supplied by Sharon House, trading as Addiction2Advocate ("Addiction2Advocate", "we", "us"), at 10 Bowood Drive, Brockworth, Gloucester, GL3 4UN. Email hello@addiction2advocate.com for questions or formal notices. The website is https://addiction2advocate.com. Addiction2Advocate is a trading name, not a limited-company designation.
2. What you are purchasing
Addiction2Change is an eight-week, lived-experience-led programme offering practical education and exercises for people who want to change their relationship with addictive behaviour. Addiction2You is a twelve-week programme focused on reconnecting with yourself and rebuilding life in or towards recovery. Neither guarantees abstinence, prevention of relapse, a clinical outcome, or any particular personal result. Independent is self-guided: pre-recorded or written lessons and worksheets released as described below. Independent includes a shared Discord chat with other Independent members, which Abby checks from 4–5pm UK time Monday–Friday. It does not include scheduled individual calls, weekly live group calls or a private one-to-one messaging service. Supported includes the same digital lessons plus the guided services specifically listed on that offer at checkout: a 30-minute individual Zoom call each week, a one-hour group meeting each week, progress/accountability support and a private Discord chat with the group and Abby during the guided programme. Supported chat hours are 9am–3pm UK time daily, including weekends; replies are not instant. Scheduling, format and any practical limits shown in the Supported offer and purchase confirmation form part of what is promised. We do not promise instant replies or 24-hour monitoring. The exact selected programme, tier, available support, dates, total price, any instalment schedule, and important technical requirements will be displayed before payment and recorded in the purchase confirmation. Where the sales description and these general terms conflict about a specific promised benefit, we will not use these terms to deprive you of that benefit.
3. Eligibility and suitability
These programmes are intended for adults aged 18 and over. Participants may be actively using substances, reducing use, trying to stop, or rebuilding in recovery; however, they need to understand the educational— not clinical—nature of the offer. Addiction2You is offered through an application process, and an application or expression of interest does not guarantee a place or create a paid contract. We may recommend more suitable professional support where a participant needs medical assessment, intensive safeguarding or urgent mental-health care. We will not make clinical withdrawal decisions or require anyone to share a detailed health history merely to receive general information. If an order is accepted and we cannot supply the agreed place, we refund the amount paid.
4. Important medical and safety limits
This is lived-experience-led education, coaching-style encouragement and peer support—not medical treatment, detoxification, psychotherapy, prescribing, a crisis line or a substitute for NHS/professional services. We cannot assess individual medical risk. Do not stop, taper or change prescribed medication, or suddenly stop alcohol or benzodiazepines, based on a programme lesson. Ask a qualified clinician for your own advice. Call 999 in a life-threatening emergency. Read our Safety & Support Boundaries and Participant Agreement, which explain safeguarding, safety expectations and privacy in groups.
5. Purchase and confirmation
Before purchasing you will see the full price (including applicable taxes), what is included, programme duration, the scheduled cohort start date, access end date and any instalments. No product is an automatically renewing subscription. An order is accepted when we confirm it in writing following successful payment or the first instalment; if a payment service clearly specifies a different contracting step, we will make that clear in the order flow. Your confirmation email will give you your purchased offer details and relevant cancellation information, including any consent/request you have made for delivery within your statutory cancellation period. Separate email-marketing consent is optional.
6. Weekly release and 12-month access
Paid lessons, worksheets, one-to-one sessions and guided group support do not begin before the start date advertised for your chosen cohort. Week 1 releases on that cohort start date, with a new week every seven days thereafter: eight weekly releases for Addiction2Change and twelve for Addiction2You. You do not have to complete a worksheet to unlock the next scheduled week. You can access released digital lessons and worksheets for 12 months from the scheduled start date of the cohort you purchase, with the precise access end date shown before payment and in your order confirmation. Downloadable worksheets may be saved and kept for personal use after online access ends. Live Supported services are delivered during the programme’s eight or twelve teaching weeks, not throughout the full 12-month materials-access period. Any change to the advertised support schedule must be communicated fairly. You need an internet-connected device, working email address and a compatible browser or viewing app; we will describe any specific platform or accessibility requirement before purchase. If a delivery platform changes, we will make reasonable efforts to preserve the agreed access.
7. Fees and instalments
The payable price is the price clearly displayed for your chosen programme and tier immediately before purchase and in your order confirmation. We will not retrospectively change the agreed total price. Optional instalments, if offered, spread the price of one programme purchase; they are not a rolling membership. See our Instalment Payment Terms and the precise payment dates displayed by the provider at checkout. Please contact us if a payment fails so we can discuss a reasonable and lawful solution privately. We do not charge undisclosed late or cancellation penalties.
8. Cancellation and refunds
You will normally have a statutory 14-day online change-of-mind period beginning the day after the contract is made, subject to the legal rules for digital content and services started during that period. We also offer a full pre-start refund if you cancel before the start date of your purchased cohort and before we have supplied any paid lessons or Supported services, as set out in our Cancellation & Refund Policy. The separate Cancellation & Refund Policy states the precise process, model cancellation form, refunds and the distinction between early delivery of digital materials and early performance of Supported services. Accepting these general terms is not consent to give up a statutory cancellation right. Nothing here limits your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
9. Respect, privacy and participation
Be respectful in sessions and digital communities. Do not shame, harass, threaten, pressure others to disclose recovery history, share someone else’s story, sell drugs or give unsafe medical or dosing instructions. No screenshots, audio/video recording or livestreaming of other participants without clear permission and organiser approval.
You may decline to answer a personal question. We cannot guarantee that every member will keep group information confidential, and messages are not monitored continuously. We may apply proportionate moderation for safety or serious misconduct. Any action we take is subject to your consumer rights and the fairness of the circumstances.
10. Intellectual property and permitted use
Programme videos, exercises, designs and worksheets are licensed for personal participation. You may download and keep worksheets expressly offered for download and your own completed reflections. Do not resell, distribute or publish paid lessons, share access credentials or reproduce materials commercially without permission, except where the law permits it.
11. Changes and delivery problems
We may make minor reasonable changes to meeting logistics, contact channels or technology, and will tell you where appropriate. We will not remove a substantial paid benefit without a fair solution. If we cancel before the start date, you receive a full refund. If content or support is missing, late, faulty or materially different from what was sold, contact us for a legal remedy which may include correction, repeat performance, a price reduction or refund.
12. Contact, complaints and governing law
For questions, cancellation, reasonable accessibility requests or complaints email hello@addiction2advocate.com. We aim to acknowledge complaints within five working days and provide a substantive reply within 20 working days, or explain when more time is needed. Our Complaints & Accessibility Policy explains the process. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, but any mandatory consumer protections in another applicable UK jurisdiction remain unaffected. If a term is unenforceable, the remaining terms continue insofar as lawful. We may not transfer your contract in a way that materially reduces your rights without following applicable law.

For the November 2026 launch
Independent programme options are linked from the programmes page. Both Supported programmes require an application, with payment only after approval.
The programmes begin on 1 November 2026. No paid lessons, worksheets or Supported services begin before that date. Lessons are released weekly. Online materials access lasts 12 months from 1 November 2026; live Supported services last for the teaching weeks of the purchased programme.
Any reference in these policies to an “early start” means delivery during a customer's statutory cancellation period, never delivery before the agreed programme start date. Joining an interest list does not reserve or purchase a place.
