Cancellation & Refund Policy
Addiction2Change (8 weeks) | Addiction2You (12 weeks) | Independent & Supported Last updated: 11 October 2026 | Standing policy for all Addiction2Advocate programme cohorts
The essentials
Each programme begins on the start date displayed for the cohort you purchase. Lessons are released weekly, not all at once. Online access lasts 12 months from that start date; downloaded worksheets can be kept. Customers usually have a 14-day online change-of-mind period. We also offer a full refund for cancellation before paid programme delivery begins, where the conditions in this policy are met. Statutory consumer rights always apply.
1. Who you are buying from
Your contract is with Sharon House, trading as Addiction2Advocate, 10 Bowood Drive, Brockworth, Gloucester, GL3 4UN. For customer service and cancellation requests, email hello@addiction2advocate.com.
2. Online cancellation period
For online contracts to supply services or non-physical digital content, a statutory 14-day change-of-mind period normally runs from the day after you enter into the contract. Your individual confirmation email will identify the date of your order and your normal cancellation deadline. The law has different rules where digital content or services start during that period. To cancel during any applicable cancellation period, email hello@addiction2advocate.com or send us any clear statement that you want to cancel. You do not need to give a reason or use our optional form. A notice sent before the deadline is sufficient even if we read it later. If the legally required cancellation information has not been provided, the cancellation period may be extended by law.
3. Our additional pre-start full-refund promise
For every cohort, if you notify us of cancellation before your scheduled programme start date (as confirmed in your order) and we have not supplied any paid lessons, worksheets, one-to-one support or group-support services, we will refund everything you paid for that programme and cancel any future instalments for it. Welcome messages, administrative arrangements and joining instructions do not count as paid programme delivery for this promise. This extra pre-start promise applies to all cohorts. It does not reduce any longer or additional cancellation right you have under the law. If your statutory cancellation right continues after the programme begins, the relevant legal rules still apply.
4. How your programme is supplied
Addiction2Change contains eight weekly learning releases and Addiction2You contains twelve. Week 1 releases on the start date stated for your purchased cohort, then subsequent weeks every seven days. The Independent option is self-guided. The Supported option also includes the personal and group-support services described in your chosen offer. You buy the programme as a whole: weekly release is not a separate purchase each week and does not create a new 14-day cancellation period on every release. Released lessons and worksheets remain accessible online for 12 months from your purchased cohort start date. Your exact access end date is displayed before payment and included in your order confirmation. Worksheets we make downloadable may be saved and kept after online access ends. You do not have to complete every worksheet before the next scheduled release. The exact support sessions and other deliverables included are those stated on the programme sales page and in the Programme Terms supplied before purchase.
5. If digital lessons start during your cancellation period
If the 14-day statutory cancellation period is still open when your digital lessons are scheduled to become available, we will only start digital supply during that period where you have expressly consented to early supply, acknowledged the legal consequence that the relevant change-of-mind cancellation right will be lost once digital supply begins, and received the legally required contract confirmation recording that consent and acknowledgement. If you do not give that consent, we will not supply digital materials while your applicable statutory cancellation period remains open. We will explain any resulting alternative access date or, if we cannot supply the advertised arrangement, offer a later cohort by agreement or the applicable cancellation/refund remedy. Supplying digital content without the legal consent, acknowledgement and confirmation requirements will not take away your statutory rights. If you buy the Supported option, starting to receive digital lessons does not automatically end any separate cancellation right concerning ongoing support services. Because each Supported purchase combines digital content and services, the law is applied to the actual components and the terms agreed, not a blanket “no refund” rule.
6. If Supported services start during your cancellation period
We will only begin one-to-one or group Supported services during an applicable statutory cancellation period if you expressly request that early start. If you cancel while your service cancellation right still exists, we may charge a lawful amount proportionate to the support services actually provided, but only where all applicable notice, consent and information requirements have been met. We will explain any calculation in writing. Starting or attending a single session does not itself mean you have lost the right to cancel future Supported services. For fully completed services, separate rules may apply where the customer made the required request and acknowledgement. If you choose not to request an early start, we will discuss a later start or later cohort before accepting payment where necessary.
7. After your legal change-of-mind right ends
Once the applicable statutory right has lawfully ended, we do not normally refund simply because you change your mind, miss sessions, stop attending or decide not to complete the programme. However, weekly content that has not yet been released is still content we have committed to supply. Your statutory rights remain unchanged. Recovery and personal circumstances can change. If you are having difficulty attending or keeping up, contact us and we will consider reasonable practical options, including adjustments where possible. Any discretionary refund, pause or transfer beyond your legal rights will be considered individually, not guaranteed. We do not impose a penalty simply for a relapse or a difficult period.
8. If we cancel, or something is wrong
If we cancel your programme before it starts, we will give a full refund. If promised content or support is not provided, is materially different from its description, or does not meet applicable legal standards, you may be entitled to an appropriate remedy. Depending on the circumstances this could include repeat performance, putting an issue right, a price reduction or a refund. Nothing in this policy limits rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or other applicable law.
9. Payments, instalments and refunds
Your cancellation rights are the same whether you pay in full or by instalments. Instalments pay for the agreed programme, not a separate weekly purchase. If a full refund is due, we will repay the sums paid and cancel future instalments. Where a lawful partial refund or proportionate charge applies, we will set out the calculation and any revised instalments in writing. For a statutory change-of-mind cancellation refund, we will normally reimburse you without undue delay and no later than 14 days after we are informed of your cancellation, using the original payment method unless you expressly agree otherwise. Other statutory remedies may have different timescales. Do not email us bank-card numbers or sensitive personal information. For complaints or refunds email hello@addiction2advocate.com; we will acknowledge the request and explain the next steps.
10. Optional cancellation form
You may use this form, but an ordinary cancellation email is enough.

11. Statutory rights and other terms
This document should be read with the Programme Terms & Conditions and, where applicable, Instalment Payment Terms provided before purchase. The relevant pre-contract information and any consent to supply digital content or start Supported services early will be confirmed on a durable medium, such as email. No provision in this policy excludes statutory consumer rights.
For the November 2026 launch
Independent programme options are linked from the programmes page. Both Supported programmes require an application, with payment only after approval.
The programmes begin on 1 November 2026. No paid lessons, worksheets or Supported services begin before that date. Lessons are released weekly. Online materials access lasts 12 months from 1 November 2026; live Supported services last for the teaching weeks of the purchased programme.
Any reference in these policies to an “early start” means delivery during a customer's statutory cancellation period, never delivery before the agreed programme start date. Joining an interest list does not reserve or purchase a place.
