Browsing the website
This public website provides programme information and links to separate signup and community services. It is hosted using OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare infrastructure. Hosting providers process technical information needed to deliver and protect the website, such as IP addresses, requested pages, request times and device or browser information. The purpose is to operate a reliable and secure website, based on our legitimate interests in providing the service and preventing misuse.
Cookies and similar technologies
The current website code does not add advertising pixels, visitor analytics, embedded signup forms or embedded videos. Its Independent programme buttons open Stan, and its Supported application buttons open Google Forms. We have not added optional advertising or analytics cookies to these public pages.
The hosting service may use essential technical measures to deliver the site or protect it from abuse. This notice does not describe cookies on third-party sites. If we add features that require consent for cookies or similar storage, we will explain them and obtain the required choice before they are used.
Contact enquiries
If you email us, we receive your email address and the information you choose to include. We use it to answer your enquiry or take steps you request towards joining a programme. Our legal basis is taking steps at your request before a contract where that applies, or our legitimate interest in responding to general enquiries and resolving problems. Email providers also process the correspondence. Please avoid sending detailed medical information or bank-card numbers through a general enquiry.
Inactive enquiries are deleted 12 months after the last meaningful contact, unless an outstanding request, complaint or legal requirement justifies retaining necessary information longer. Hosting providers operate their own technical log retention arrangements; contact us for information relevant to a particular request.
Signups, purchases and participation
Read the Programme emails privacy notice before joining the MailerLite interest list. For applications, purchases and participation, read the Programme Privacy Notice, including its explanation of optional sensitive information and separate consent.
External links and international processing
Links to MailerLite, Stan, Zoom, Discord, Substack and social platforms take you to services with their own privacy notices and settings. Information may be processed internationally by relevant providers. Where UK data-transfer rules apply to information we control, appropriate safeguards are required. We do not sell enquiry details or recovery information to advertisers.
Your rights and concerns
Depending on the circumstances, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your information, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may withdraw consent where consent is used. Contact hello@addiction2advocate.com. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
